About the Founder

An ardent believer in creative therapeutic spaces, I’m a Registered Psychotherapist with an expertise Body based/ Movement Psychotherapy.

I pursued BA Honors - Psychology from Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi and MA in Movement Psychotherapy from Goldsmiths, University of London.

I'm registered with the Association of Dance Movement Psychotherapy, UK ( ADMP-UK).

I am the Creative Director & Founder of my organisation, and President at the Indian Association of Dance Movement Therapy (IADMT). I run my own clinical practice from RK Polyclinic, Mumbai, as well as online.

My approach is underpinned by principles of body-based psychotherapy, attachment theories, developmental psychology and the psychodynamic school of psychotherapy. My lens is trauma integrated, queer affirmative and intersectional. An avid reader and animal lover, I work towards animal rights in my capacity within the community.

I aspire to build a community that is accessible and inclusive to people with diverse physical and mental health-related needs across varied genders, castes, classes and ages.
